Philadelphia has several HSBC locations but this is the one I go to when I need an ATM, or have to cash a check. My personal banker (Linda) is great, answering my questions, and making it easy for me to open an account.

If I was living in NYC, I would probably have more dealings with them. For those who travel, HSBC has a substantial international presence (even in places Citibank and Bank of America aren't), and I take advantage of their locations abroad. Regardless whether you're a student or businessperson, if you're living in the Philadelphia metro, there's probably a product they offer (savings accounts, credit cards, investments) that you can use. Oh, and they're open Sundays.

Besides the fact that HSBC could do better penetrating the Philadelphia market, I've had no problems with them.
